I extend a warm welcome to ůůֱ²¥ State ůůֱ²¥ students, parents, alumni, colleagues and members of the community.
With more than 21,000 students, ůůֱ²¥ State ůůֱ²¥ is New Jersey’s second largest university, and we feel a special pride in our reputation for exceptional faculty, commitment to excellent teaching, and the quality of our scholarship and research. The Board of Trustees is a governing body independent of the faculty and staff that contributes to the ůůֱ²¥’s long-term strategic planning and to the development of the ůůֱ²¥’s mission.
Office of the Provost
The Office of the Provost oversees ůůֱ²¥ State ůůֱ²¥â€™s academic programs, schools, colleges and the ůůֱ²¥ library. In addition, the Office of the Provost promotes and supports faculty excellence by devising effective academic policies, developing a meaningful curriculum and adopting high standards for faculty.

Budget and Planning
The Office of Budget and Planning is responsible for forecasting, allocating, and monitoring the funding resources that comprise ůůֱ²¥ State ůůֱ²¥â€™s annual operating budget, also known as the spending plan.
Finance and Treasury
The Division of Finance and Treasury provides accounting, financial management and reporting services for the various academic and administrative offices of the ůůֱ²¥.

Human Resources
The Human Resources Team promotes the individual growth, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ongoing professional development of all employees within an inclusive and responsive environment. Human Resources is responsible for tasks including maintaining employee records, processing the ůůֱ²¥’s payroll, organizing and administering employee benefits and administering leaves of absence.

Information Technology
The Information Technology Division is responsible for building, maintaining and supporting the ůůֱ²¥â€™s computing infrastructure. The Division supports a wide range of technologies, encompassing enterprise servers and software, the ůůֱ²¥â€™s wireless and wired networks, campus phone networks, and desktop computers.

ůůֱ²¥ Communications and Marketing are the stewards of the ůůֱ²¥ brand, ensuring official communications from the ůůֱ²¥ maintain a consistent voice and clear message that advances the ůůֱ²¥’s goals. It is directly responsible for photography, graphic design, editorial standards, the ůůֱ²¥ website, ůůֱ²¥ Magazine, ad purchasing and the ůůֱ²¥’s social media presence.
ůůֱ²¥ Development
ůůֱ²¥ Development is the office chiefly responsible for the ůůֱ²¥’s fundraising efforts. By arranging and cultivating donations to the ůůֱ²¥, ůůֱ²¥ Development is able to decrease tuition costs, provide student scholarships and improve our students’ on-campus experience by funding new construction and renovations.

ůůֱ²¥ Facilities is responsible for nearly all aspects of the physical campus – from grounds to buildings, electrical to plumbing. ůůֱ²¥ Facilities handles the detailed planning and execution of all campus construction projects including the logistical organization of all subcontractors. The Division is also responsible for campus fire safety and the shuttle buses that connect the campus together.
